BAPTCARE CAN TRACE A HISTORY OF KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY, working for a future where every person is valued and respected. The Foundation of Baptcare started in 1945, when a group of Baptist women joined together to raise £4,000 in a time of war to open Australia’s first
Baptist home for older people.
“We have a rich heritage in supporting those with the greatest need and enabling people to live a fuller life,” says Gary Racine, General Manager – Aged Care. “Over the years, we have continued to learn and grow, ever conscious that we can always be better.”
Baptcare’s services include community and home support, nursing and allied health services and centre- based care including day centres and respite care.
Our principles unite and guide us every day to create a meaningful difference for our customers, our people and the community.
At Baptcare we believe:
- Everyone is unique and should be valued and respected for who they are.
- Services should be exceptional, evidence-based and delivered with genuine empathy.
- By understanding what matters to others, we can empower choice, participation and connection.
- Everything we do should deliver a positive outcome and we appreciate how little things can make a big difference.
Our promise is to work with our clients, and their family/carers to ensure they feel as comfortable, independent and content as possible, whilst remaining in their own home and community.
